What age is the camera suitable for?
SnapSprout™ is recommended for children aged 4+. Its compact design and simple controls make it easy for young photographers to use, although younger children may need help getting started.
Does it need ink?
Nope, thankfully not! SnapSprout™ uses thermal printing technology, so there are no ink cartridges, toners or messy refills to replace. Simply load a roll of SnapSprout™ refill paper and your little photographer is ready to keep creating.
Are photos printed in colour?
The camera captures and saves digital photos (on an SD card) in colour, while the instant printed photos come out in black and white. Kids can leave their prints as they are or make them their own with pencils, crayons, stickers and drawings.
Do I need to purchase separate batteries?
No. The SnapSprout™ Instant Camera has a built-in rechargeable battery and can be recharged using the included USB-C cable.
Does it take videos?
Yes! Simply insert the included microSD card to record and save your child’s favourite moments.
Does the camera include games?
Yes, the camera includes a small selection of built-in games. However, it is primarily designed for photography, instant printing and creative play, without social media, internet browsing or downloadable apps.
How long does each roll of refill paper last?
Each roll can print approximately 45 photos (non-adhesive rolls) or 30 photos (adhesive rolls). Each camera comes with 2 BPA-free, non-adhesive refill paper rolls. Replacing the roll is quick and easy, and additional SnapSprout™ refill paper or stickers can be purchased separately.
